Earning yield on Aave is generated by depositing USDC in the Aave V3 protocol on the Polygon and Avalanche networks. Thus earning daily auto-compouning liquidity provider rewards. Before supplying liquidity, also referred to as staking, you need to first make sure you have available funds in your USDC vault. You can top up in US Dollars via card or directly transfer USDC.

For USDC transfers, you will receive your own segregated wallet address on the Polygon network, supplied by Fireblocks. Return Finance offers maximum transparency for all transactions, and you receive an auditable trail for your deposit.

The vault stores your stablecoins without generating yield. It’s up to you to initiate any liquidity provisioning, thus granting you full control over building your staking portfolio. Whenever you decide to unstake from a liquidity pool, your deposit and earnings will return to the vault.

For this tutorial, we will pick Aave on Polygon but Aave on Avalanche is also supported within the app. Once you’ve opened the Aave on Polygon dashboard, supplying liquidity happens in seconds. Just click on “stake”, input your desired USDC amount from the available balance, and that’s it. 

Gas fees for staking, unstaking and re-staking are covered by Return Finance, so you can maximize your investment. Once again, you get full transparency and can verify that your money is staked via the blockchain explorer.
